      • DAY 1 - ADDIS to DIRE DAWA

        Early morning flight from Addis Ababa to Dire Dawa. Departure at 08:00 am to arrive 09:00 am. Arrival at Dire Dawa Airport, met by a Zulla Discovery representative. Depart from airport to Harar town for check in to the hotel.  
        Morning activity: visit the historic city of Harar including the walled city, shrines, mosques, museums and the glass house of the famous French poet Rimbaud and the colorful market. 

        In the evening (around 07:00 pm) visit the hyena man’s performance. An astonishing experience of a person feeding hyenas by hand and/or mouth. 

        Harar is the fourth holy city in Islam, next to Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem. The Walled City of Harar is inscribed by UNESCO in 2006 as a World Heritage Site.

      • DAY 2 - HARAR to DIREDAWA

        Leisure morning at hotel. After breakfast, drive back to Dire Dawa.  

        Full day activity, visit the old railway station and vibrant market.

      • DAY 3 - DIREDAWA to ADDIS

        After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Dire Dawa Airport for flight to Addis Ababa at 10:05 am arriving at 11:05 am. Transfer to the hotel for check in. 

        Afternoon at leisure. Please ask our booking consultants of optional activities or be ready for your connecting flight back home.

      Annual Festival of St. Kulbi Gebreal Supplement: US$ 60 per person per night if the tour will be from July 24-28, 2023 and December 27-31, 2023. 

      Cost Includes 

      • Accommodations as specified in the program.
      • Meet and greet services.
      • English speaking guide services.
      • Airport transfers as per the program.
      • All ground transports per the program.
      • All entrance fees such park fees, village fees and museum fees as stated in the program.
      • Bottled water will be provided in vehicles.

      • International flight airfares.
      • Domestic airfares inside Ethiopia (confirm with agent when making a booking)

      * Reserve fees used in these rates are based on current information.  Should there be increases in park and/or Reserve fees, these will be passed along for all existing and future bookings.

    • Covid-19 Policies
      It is the travellers responsibility to adhere to each countries covid-19 policies. Please ensure you are informed of all new and updated regulations before travel.

      Deposit & Cancellation Policy  

      • A 30% refundable deposit is required within 14 days of making the booking, 
      • Final payment is due 65 days of date of departure.  
      • Cancelation before 60 days, a fee of $50 per person is charged as a handling fee to cover the cost of processing the booking and subsequent cancellation.   
      • Cancellation between 59 days and 30 days, a rate of 50% of the value of booking is applicable. This applies for all services cancelled or reduced in number, from noon on the first day of their commencement.  
      • In the case of cancellation within 29 days from noon on the day the services commence or in the case of a no-show, a 100% of the value of the booking is applicable.  
      • Please request any further information on this if required. 
      • We may have to re-route the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability. 
      • Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you. 
      • Specific language speaking guides must be requested at time of requesting booking and are subject to availability at time of confirmation.
