DAY 1 - ADDIS ABABA
A full day city tour takes you through Addis Ababa, the political and economic capital of Ethiopia as well as the diplomatic capital of Africa. The tour begins with the National Museum that sheds light on the archaeological finds, historical artifacts and art works of the country. Lucy, the most complete hominid skeletal remains at the time of discovery, is at the heart of the show.
From there, drive north onto Entoto Park for its panoramic view over the city and the surrounding countryside whilst visiting the historic palace of Emperor Menelik II and the Church Museum which houses priceless ecclesiastical and historical collections.
After lunch and a ceremonial coffee break at a cultural restaurant (or restaurant of your choice), visit to the Trinity Cathedral, the second highest ranking church in Ethiopia and a venue for enthronement of bishops. Apart from its beautiful stained glass windows, the cathedral is the final resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie and other very important dignitaries.
If time permits, we will pay a visit either to souvenir shops to see and buy Ethiopian traditional authentic artifacts or Shola Market to experience the energy of Ethiopia’s open markets.

Covid-19 Policies

A 30% refundable deposit is required within 14 days of making the booking,
Final payment is due 65 days of date of departure.
Cancelation before 60 days, a fee of $50 per person is charged as a handling fee to cover the cost of processing the booking and subsequent cancellation.
Cancellation between 59 days and 30 days, a rate of 50% of the value of booking is applicable. This applies for all services cancelled or reduced in number, from noon on the first day of their commencement.
In the case of cancellation within 29 days from noon on the day the services commence or in the case of a no-show, a 100% of the value of the booking is applicable.
