• DAY 1: ADDIS ABABA— BISHOFTU (DEBREZEIT) CRATER LAKES

  Start the tour by driving on the main freeway for about an hour to the beautiful resort town of Bishoftu (formerly called Debrezeit). Upon arrival at Bishoftu, you will start exploring the natural beauty by boat ride on Lake Babogaya. View a wide range of aquatic birds and flora within a scenic environment. Then proceed onto Lake Hora, best known as the venue of the colorful traditional Oromo Thanks Giving Ceremony - Irrecha Festival celebrated towards the second half of September. One may have a chance to witness religious rituals on the shore of the lake even on regular day. Proceed to Kuriftu Resort and Spa for check in followed by lunch. Afternoon activity: enjoy the water park entertainment and sporting activities along with complimentary massage. 

  
  
  

• DAY 2: BISHOFTU (DEBREZEIT) CRATER LAKES-WATER PARK-- ART GALLEY-ADDIS ABABA

  After a relaxed breakfast overlooking the shore of the lake, relax with more activities of the water park. Visit Africa Art Galley known for its huge collection of portraits of iconic figures. The galley was established by the late artist Lema Guya. Lunch will be at the Pyramid Resort beautifully located on the shore of Lake Bishoftu. The carefully crafted walkways will give you an opportunity to get closer to the view points of the lake. Late afternoon drive back to Addis Ababa.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy  

• A 30% refundable deposit is required within 14 days of making the booking,  
• Final payment is due 65 days of date of departure.  
• Cancelation before 60 days, a fee of $50 per person is charged as a handling fee to cover the cost of processing the booking and subsequent cancellation.   
• Cancellation between 59 days and 30 days, a rate of 50% of the value of booking is applicable. This applies for all services cancelled or reduced in number, from noon on the first day of their commencement.  
• In the case of cancellation within 29 days from noon on the day the services commence or in the case of a no-show, a 100% of the value of the booking is applicable.

 Passenger Information 

The tour is modular and combines with other tours so there may be need for clients to change vehicles on occasion. 

 Luggage 

Passengers are recommended to bring only soft sided bags. Due to limited luggage space in vehicles, suitcases are unsuitable for scheduled road safaris. We recommend luggage packed in inexpensive barrel/sausage bags or soft sided bags not exceeding 15kgs and 65x46 cm.
