Zulla Parks LLC – the company developing world-class safari destinations in Ethiopia supported by its own destination management company and tour operations.

We launched Zulla Parks LLC to pioneer luxury safari travel in the Chebera Churchura National Park in southern Ethiopia – an area which until now has not had tourism infrastructure in place.

Chebera Churchura National Park was proclaimed in 2005, but without the necessary infrastructure, the area has been under-visited.

Zulla Parks LLC is led by Yezalaleul Abayneh, President & CEO, who was born in Ethiopia and has enjoyed a successful business career in the United States of America. He is responsible for the overall management of Zulla Parks LLC, including providing direction to the LLC’s business divisions, namely Zulla Discovery and Zulla Hospitality management.

Zulla Discovery is a Destination Management Company and Tour Operator based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and provides high-quality end-to-end tour and travel services, and events, with a focus on wildlife and cultural safari experiences in Ethiopia and its neighbouring countries.

The company’s vision is to develop authentic tourism facilities and services inside and around protected wildlife areas in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian government is looking to prioritize tourism, with its vision to make Ethiopia one of the top 5 tourist destinations in Africa within the next 4 years. Zulla Discovery is well set to bring the world to Ethiopia’s wild places, supporting conservation of the country’s natural resources and benefitting local communities through job creation and downstream opportunities.

Zulla Hospitality Management is the division responsible for developing and managing the company’s properties inside Ethiopia, which include the soon-to-open 5-star Lake Bullo Lodge, Shoshima Rest Camp and Yora Wilderness Camp – all within the Chebera Churchura National Park.

Through Zulla Parks LLC, 436 jobs are being created, which includes training staff to become specialists in customer service, spa and wellness services, hospitality and conservation – a massive benefit for the local community.
